Tauranga Ferrari Fundraiser draws $2,700 for LGFB

Tauranga turned on a perfect day on Sunday April 15th for AC/DC Drummer Phil Rudd’s Ferrari Fundraiser, with a gold coin donation for entry going to Look Good Feel Better.

People flocked to the Tauranga Mariner and filled our buckets with coins amounting to $2,700. The event also gave us a great opportunity to spread further awareness about the charity!

A huge thank you to Lisa Brooky (LGFB volunteer) for putting our charity forward and Phil’s Place Restaurant Manager Daniel Rodgers-Purdie for making it all happen.

Phil impressively flew into the grounds in his helicopter, signed t/shirts and allowed us to take photos – so a fantastic day was had by all.

Keep watching as there will also be a follow-up luncheon at his restaurant (Phil’s Place) with an auction later in the year. I want Lisa at every fundraiser she just smiles and they give her money!

The Bay of Plenty Times went along and published this great article and a series of photographs from the event!
